Illegal drinking water connection
District Collector Kalachelvi Mohan has ordered the following measures to be taken to disconnect the illegal drinking water connections in the Municipal Corporation, Municipality, Borough Council and Village Panchayats in Kanchipuram district.
Electric motor connections
According to it, improper drinking water pipe connections and illegally used electric motor connections in the corporation, municipality, municipality and village panchayat areas will be disconnected and confiscated by the relevant local bodies.
Imposition of penalty
Also, in order to regularize the daily supply of drinking water in the municipal corporation, municipality, borough and village panchayat areas, if the electric motor connections are used illegally in houses, wedding halls, shops and factories, they will be disconnected and fined.
Summer time
Also, District Collector Kalachelvi Mohan has requested the public to cooperate in sparingly using drinking water in order to avoid drought during summer.
