Best Corporation
On behalf of the Tamil Nadu Government, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu hoisted the flag at the Chennai Fort Kothalam and addressed the audience. Following this, he was honored with various awards. In this case, Coimbatore Corporation has been selected as the best corporation.
Best municipality
Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Sivaguru Prabhakaran received the Best Corporation Award from the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Similarly, Sulur municipality in Coimbatore district has been selected as the best municipality. The officers from the Coimbatore Corporation received the awards.

Because of this, all the people of Coimbatore district are happy that Coimbatore has been chosen as the best corporation and Sulur Borough has been chosen as the municipality.
