In preparation for the launch of the SSLV T3 rocket, ISRO scientists visited the Tirupati Eyumalayan Temple and offered prayers. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is all set to launch the Earth observation satellite EOS-08 on August 16. The mission will launch the satellite on the SSLV D3 rocket.

It was announced that the Earth observation satellite will be launched today on Independence Day by a small launch vehicle SSLV-D3 rocket. But ISRO has announced that the launch on 15th will be changed due to administrative reasons and the EOS-08 satellite will be launched tomorrow.

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has announced that the satellite will be launched tomorrow at 9.17 am. In this case, while the earth observation satellite is going to be launched tomorrow, the scientists of ISRO performed worship at Tirupati Eyumalayan Temple today.

It is also said that pooja was performed with a model of the satellite in the sky tomorrow. The photos of ISRO scientists worshiping at the Tirupati Eyumalayan temple are going viral on social media. The EOS-8 satellite is built with a weight of around 175 kg.

The GNSS-R instrument on this satellite is designed to provide information related to sea surface wind activity, soil moisture, water level detection, etc. ISRO has also said that it will be included in the Gaganyaan project spacecraft.

ISRO stated that the primary objective of the EOS-08 mission includes designing and building a microsatellite, developing payload instruments compatible with the microsatellite bus and integrating new technologies required for future operational satellites.
