It is said that Ranil will not contest the elections due to fear of defeat

Industry and Foreign Employment Minister Manusha Nanayakkara said that Sajith Premadasa is running false campaigns because Ranil Wickramasinghe’s contesting in the election will have a major impact on the political activities of United People’s Shakti.

Nalaka Kodahewa and G.L. are currently holding the power of the United People’s Power, which held the economic policies of the United National Party. He said this while participating in the press conference of the United National Party yesterday (21) that there are people with different political views like Peiris.

United Peoples Shakti’s Mulkrigala Constituency Organizer Nimal Francisco has rejoined the United National Party. The minister also expressed his opinion here.

“The United People’s Power today is captured by the amazing members who have ruined the country and eliminated Gotabaya Rajapaksa. They are the same people who gave wrong advice to the country to reach a crisis stage after winning the election with 69 lakh votes through Gotabaya Rajapaksa Podujana Peramuna. There is no place today for a group of United People’s Shakti that has the position of the United National Party.

The day before yesterday (20) Sajith Premadasa gave a dinner to a group of party members. Vasantha Bandara, G.L. Beeris, Ranjith Madhamabhandara, Laxman Kriella, Dilip, Kayanta, Mayanda, Sanjay, Alavathwala, Kabir, Eran visited. Kabir and Eran do not deserve to be with us because their economic policies are different. So what is present in the United People’s Power is not the economic policy of the United National Party. Rather Nalaka Kodaheva, G.L. Peirce’s economic policy is just that.

Many MPs are currently discussing with us. Some ask why May Day was not incorporated. There is time for the presidential election and there is no need to rush. They will happen in due time.

Because some people are in a position to start their election campaigns earlier. The journey of falling to 3 per cent has begun again. Many members of the United National Party in United People’s Shakti are discussing joining us in the near future.

Each of these groups will integrate in a different way and that is why Sajith Premadasa has those who are trying to take the party not to do this. If Sajith Premadasa does not listen to it, he is ready to join us separately. As a rehearsal for that, Nimal Francisco, who is involved in politics in Ambanthotai district, and the organizer of the Mulkrigala Constituency of United People’s Shakti, has embarked on a victory tour today along with Ranil Wickramasinghe.

The minister answered questions from journalists;

“In the current political situation, the presidential election has to be held. All parties are preparing for it. As a United National Party we are preparing to make Ranil the President. Currently, various opinions are being formed in the society. The United People’s Shakti Party says that Ranil Wickremesinghe will not contest the presidential election.

United People’s Shakti knows that when Ranil Wickremesinghe comes in strong and contests the presidential election, it will be the death blow of the United National Party.

That is why Sajith Premadasa is campaigning in an attempt to protect the party member. Party members unite as they move towards their preferred vision of the country. Ranil Wickremesinghe wants to build the country.

When he said that he could not take responsibility for setting houses on fire, and he said that he could not take all responsibility for building the country, he changed the country by assuming the office of president to build the country.

He will officially announce his candidacy for the presidential election next month. After that many people can come and join. He is presenting himself as a national candidate to unite.

The Minister said that we have prepared arrangements to unite all those who are doing politics for the country and move ahead with success.
