Mumbai: The chicken shawarma controversy is becoming a serial story, with 12 people hospitalized after eating chicken shawarma in Mumbai.
12 people who ate street food in Mumbai’s Goregaon area have been admitted to hospital with food poisoning symptoms in the last two days.
All those admitted to the hospital were found to have eaten chicken shawarma from a restaurant located in the Satellite Tower in Santosh Nagar area of Goregaon (East).
It is noteworthy that in the past, many people in some states including Tamil Nadu fell ill and were admitted to hospital after eating this Asian food “Chicken Shawarma”.
It is becoming a recurring story that people are being hospitalized for food poisoning because the meat in the food is not cooked properly.
In that regard, it is said that 9 out of 12 patients in Mumbai have already been discharged and the remaining three are still undergoing treatment in the hospital.
