The film Raghu Datta, starring Keerthy Suresh, who is a leading actress in South Indian cinema, is releasing today (August 15) on the occasion of Independence Day. This film was written by Suman Kumar to be produced by Hombale Films.
Keerthy Suresh, a feminist and bank employee, strongly opposes the imposition of Hindi. At that time he got married. Keerthy Suresh is forced to learn Hindi to stop the marriage. Did he stop the marriage? Isn’t it? That is the rest of the story of the film. Keerthy Suresh, the heroine of the film, gives an elegant performance and receives applause.
Like him, Ravindra Vijay and MS Bhaskar have also scored occasional performances. The first half of the film was somewhat enjoyable. Sporadic comedy in the second half had the audience roaring with laughter. Especially the scenes in the climax are a good comedy treat. According to the story set in 1969, cinematographer Yamini has done the cinematography very well. Especially the color effects of the film are excellent and create a colorful feast for the eyes. 
Shaun Roldan, the music director, has provided the kind of background music required in this Feel Good movie without exceeding the limit. Logical mistakes at a few places make the true cinephile in us cringe. The film would have been better if the screenplay and dialogues were a little more refined.
