Kerala : The death toll in the landslide in Wayanad has risen to 151. The Kerala government has officially announced that more than 100 people are still missing.
In this case, the Kerala Health Minister Veena George’s car met with an accident on his way to Wayanad this morning to visit Wayanad where the landslide occurred.
His car lost control and crashed into a fish pole near Manjeri. Fortunately, he escaped with minor injuries.
Meanwhile, more than 128 people trapped in the landslide and buried in the soil have been rescued and admitted to hospitals. So far more than 1000 people have been rescued alive and 400 families are stranded.
