Kerala Minister who severely criticized the Tamil Nadu government

Minister KP Ganesh Kumar slammed the Tamil Nadu government for raising the tax on tourist buses without consulting the Kerala government.

Speaking in the Assembly, the Minister said that Tamil Nadu has increased the tax by Rs.4000 without consulting Kerala. “Tamil Nadu should remember that Sabarimala season is coming in Kerala. Most of the devotees coming to Sabarimala are from Tamil Nadu. If you buy Rs 4000 there, we will also buy Rs 4000 here. If you harm us, we will harm you,” said Ganesh Kumar.

The Minister also said that the system of payment of salary to KSRTC employees in one installment on the 1st of every month will be introduced.

“Preparations are underway to introduce this system. Technical issues in getting bank loans are being resolved. KSRTC will switch to more AC buses. Buses with more amenities will be introduced keeping in view the changing climate and changing needs. Q. “The norms of SRTC malls will be relaxed and steps will be taken to rent out as many shops as possible,” the minister added.
