MG Motor is gearing up to launch a facelifted version of its full-size SUV Cluster in India. The new facelifted version is expected to debut with minor design changes on the exterior and minor updates on the interior. It is also expected that MG may make some changes to improve the new driving experience.
MG Cluster: External update
MG is going to introduce new changes to the front of the new cluster facelift. Mainly, the existing grill will be replaced by a new three-slat grill. The headlamps are also getting a new cube-shaped split setup. The LED DRLs extend to the grille to give it a new look. Changes to the wheels of the facelifted versions are common. However, the photo taken of the new Cluster facelift while it was being tested on Indian roads shows the same grills that are currently in use. So, it looks like there will be no change.
MG Cluster: Interior
At the rear, MG will also offer a connecting light bar along with LED taillights. It is expected that there will be no major change in facilities. A large touchscreen infotainment panel, wireless smartphone connectivity and a digital instrument cluster are expected to be offered. Other features include ventilated front seats, wireless charger, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof and secondary ADAS facilities.
MG Cluster: Engine and Price
Apart from these design changes, there are no changes to the engine of the Cluster facelift. The same engine currently in use will be used in the facelifted model as well. Currently, the cluster is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 213 hp of power and 478 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Currently, this cluster model is being sold at an ex-showroom price of Rs 38.80 lakh to Rs 43.87 lakh. The Cluster facelift model is expected to be priced slightly higher than this.
