Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Ukraine for the first time since the war with Russia, accepting the invitation of Ukrainian President Zelensky.

India’s Ministry of External Affairs has announced that Prime Minister Modi will visit Ukraine for the first time since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war.

The war that Russia started on Ukraine in February 2022 is still not over. Meanwhile, Narendra Modi, who took charge of the Prime Minister for the 3rd time, went to Russia last month on a 2-day official visit.

The trip attracted international attention as it was PM Modi’s first foreign visit to Russia after taking over as Prime Minister. There, Russian President Vladimir Putin presented the highest award of Russia to Prime Minister Modi.

After this, the two embrace and exchange love. This was criticized by Ukrainian President Zelensky.

In this situation, Prime Minister Modi will visit Poland tomorrow (August 21), followed by the war-torn parts of Ukraine on the 23rd, according to the Ministry of External Affairs of India.

It is noteworthy that Narendra Modi is the first Prime Minister to visit Ukraine after 30 years and Poland after 45 years.

PM Modi’s visit to Ukraine will be very important. The Ministry of External Affairs has said that India has always advocated diplomatic dialogue to end the war in Ukraine.
