International Day of Yoga: On the occasion of the 10th International Day of Yoga, Indian Army soldiers performed yoga in the mountains and Indian Navy personnel on board a warship.
In 2014, Prime Minister Modi proposed International Yoga Day at the United Nations. With 177 countries supporting it, the International Yoga Day is being celebrated on June 21 all over the world.
Today, on the occasion of the 10th International Day of Yoga, Prime Minister Modi performed yoga at the conference center in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, and congratulated the people of the country and those doing yoga all over the world.
In this case, today, Indian soldiers performed yoga in the Bir Panjal mountain ranges in the LoC area. The video is going viral on the internet.

In the video, more than 10 soldiers performed various yoga poses despite the snow, fully covered in their uniforms. Also, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh did Yoga with Army Chief Manoj Pandey in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura.
Meanwhile, at Dhanushkodi, Indian Navy personnel on board warships INS Targash and INS Tech performed various yoga asanas including Surya Namaskar.
