Delhi: The first session of the 18th Lok Sabha started last Monday. In which, the first 2 days were the swearing-in ceremony of MPs. Following this, the election to elect the Speaker of the Lok Sabha was held on Wednesday. President Thirelapathi Murmu addressed yesterday.

He proposed many schemes in it. After that a resolution of thanks for the President’s speech was to be passed today. Following this, the opposition parties adjourned the vote of thanks to the President’s speech and demanded a discussion on the NEET issue. Their request was rejected by the Speaker.

Following this, both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha were adjourned till 12 pm as the opposition MPs engaged in a series of protests.

Then again at 12 o’clock when both the houses met, then again, the opposition parties in both the houses raised slogans about the NEET issue. Following this, both Houses announced adjournment till Monday (July 1).
