Skoda Enyaq iV
Skoda will launch its first electric car in India by the middle of next year. The car is expected to start at Rs 55 lakh (ex-showroom). It is a 5 seater car. It looks similar to Skoda’s flagship Kodiaq SUV.
The top variant model has a 77KWH battery pack, 2 electric motor facility, AWD facility, 265 BHP power, 500 KM range, 100KMPH speed in 6.9 seconds. Will its base variant be available in India? We have to wait and see.
Skoda Superb
Skoda’s premium sedan, the Superb, is expected to launch early next year. It will be sold in limited number of limited units in India on CBU (import) basis. The price is expected to start from Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).
It is powered by an upgraded 2.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine, producing 190 BHP of power and mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission. Only the top variant L&K will be sold here. It will feature ADAS security, cruise control, 360-degree camera facility, new infotainment system, chassis control, TPMS and many other modern facilities.
New Skoda Kodiaq
Skoda’s flagship SUV Kodiaq will get an update next year. It will be launched by the end of next year. Its price starts from Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). The car will feature features from the Vision 7S concept car that was launched last year.
Hybrid facility
It will have a 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engine along with 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options. Along with these, Plug in Hybrid and Mild Hybrid feature will provide better mileage.
The car will be sold in India in CKD mode with 4×4 option. Now the first generation Kodiaq SUV is sold only with petrol engine option.
Volkswagen ID.4
Based on the Skoda Enyaq electric car, the ID.4 is based on Volkswagen’s MEB platform. Its top model GTX 299 BHP power, 460NM torque capacity, 77KWH battery pack, 480 KM range.
The car will be launched in the middle of next year. It will start at Rs 55 lakh (ex-showroom). These cars will be launched under the Volkswagen 3.0 India programme.
