A formal event to replace those who worked in the departments and departments in the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language of Sri Lanka Southeastern University was held yesterday, Monday, under the leadership of Dean M. H. A. Munas.
Meanwhile, MCS Satifa, who was the Head of Department of Arabic Language for two and a half years, has accepted the position of Head of Department of Arabic Language Department, as Prof. AM Raziq is continuing her higher studies.
Similarly, MSA filled the vacancy due to the resignation of the three-term IDU coordinator, Dr. F. H. A. Shipley. Riyad Ruli was appointed. MH Nabar, who is serving as Senior Assistant Registrar in this university, has accepted the post of Acting Assistant Registrar of this college.
Addressing here, Dean Munas said that he would like to thank all those who have undertaken these tasks with difficulty in the past and especially to appreciate the past service and also to provide inspiration for the new ones.
