Fans are celebrating the film in theatres. The success of this film can be attributed to the story on one hand and the music of the film on the other. It can be said that the music of this film was so strong for the film. Vidyasagar had given such good songs and background music.
In this case, the music director Vidyasagar, who participated in a recent interview, talked about the way the songs of the film were created. Speaking about this, he said, “When I was first signed to compose music for the film Gilli, the producer AM Ratnam told me to take only 2 songs from the film Okkadu and put them in Tamil.
I didn’t really want to take it like that and I said that we don’t want a Telugu song, let’s make a new one in Tamil. Producer A. M. Ratnam sir, what do you say? He said that all those songs are big hits in Telugu. I told him that what you are going to do in Tamil is going to be a bigger hit than that, wait and see.
Even though I say so much, the producer of the film has no confidence. Then he agreed for me. As I said, I gave good songs in the film. I finished all the songs in 30 minutes. Vidyasagar said that the song is being celebrated till now.
