Chennai: While the price of jewelery gold has been rising for the past few days, it has come down today.
Due to international crude oil export and import, petrol and diesel prices fluctuate. Similarly, when inflation and demand for gold increases, the price of gold also increases.
Thus, the price of gold is rising and falling every day. Yesterday it rose to Rs.560 and touched a new high, but today it has fallen slightly. It must be said that no matter what, the housewives do not look happy.
As of today (17-05-2024) in Chennai, the price of 22 carat jewelery is being sold at Rs 200 per sawan to Rs 54,160 and Rs 25 per gram at Rs 6,770. Silver prices remained unchanged at Rs 92.50 per gram and Rs 92,500 per kg.
As of yesterday (16-05-2024) in Chennai, the price of 22 carat jewelery rose by Rs 560 to Rs 54,360 per gram and Rs 70 to Rs 6,795 per gram. Similarly, the price of silver increased by Rs.1.50 to Rs.92.50 per gram, while the price of silver per kg increased by Rs.1,500 to Rs.92,500.
