In this case, Neeraj Chopra, the ‘golden son’ from India, threw the javelin in the qualifying round of the 2nd division. In the first attempt, he threw the javelin 89.34 meters and qualified directly for the final. It is noteworthy that no one has lit the javelin at this distance in the ongoing Olympic series.

As a result, he has set a new record by burning the javelin for the longest distance in the qualification round. The distance he threw is considered to be the highest distance in this qualification round. Also, the javelin final will start on August 8 at 11.55 pm.

Also, Neeraj Chopra stunned by winning gold in the javelin event held in Tokyo Olympics in 2000. The distance of the javelin thrown by him was 87.58 meters. As a result, the distance he has thrown in the qualifying round is more than the meter he won last year, so it is highly expected that he will win gold in this Olympics as well.
