189Sri Lanka’s Aruna Darshana will participate in the 400m semi-final at the Paris Olympics today (06) at 11.05 pm Sri Lanka time.
Aruna Darshana finished third in the men’s 400m race in the first round.
Notably, it took him 44.99 seconds to complete the race and thereby qualify for the semi-final round.
He had achieved the milestone of becoming the first Sri Lankan to qualify for the semi-finals of the men’s 400m race at the Olympics.
