Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Geir Starmer on his victory in the UK election and taking over as Prime Minister.
The Labor Party has won over 411 seats out of 650 constituencies in the British Lok Sabha elections. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s Conservative party lost only 119 seats.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to congratulate Keir Starmer, who will be sworn in as the new Prime Minister of Britain. In his congratulatory message, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned that he looks forward to constructive cooperation to further strengthen India-UK relations in all fields to promote mutual growth and development.
It is noteworthy at this time that Keir Starmer had said during the British Parliament election campaign that cooperation with India would be provided in all fields and good relations with India would be improved.
