Superstar Rajinikanth acted in the movie Jailer which was released last year directed by Nelson. 
Rajini acted in the film Vedatiyan directed by DJ Gnanavel after this film made a record of collecting more than 600 crores. Anirudh is composing the music for this film to be produced by Lyca. The shooting of this film is going on in Thiruvananthapuram, Mumbai and Hyderabad. Rajini has already finished his portions. According to current reports, he will start dubbing work soon. 
And the additional information is that the shooting for the rest of the cast is said to be 18 days away. Meanwhile, the film crew has announced that the film will release in October. According to this, the news is spreading on social media recently that the movie Vadeyan will be released worldwide on 10th October. But the film crew is yet to lock the release date. Recently, it has been announced that Suriya’s Kangwa will release on October 10.
