Ravindra Jadeja is a good bowler but don’t settle for that! Tom Moody speech!

Ravindra Jadeja : Ravindra Jadeja is not right to bat at number 7 in the World Cup, says Tom Moody.

With the IPL matches in full swing, the next focus of cricket fans is on the T20 World Cup. The World Cup will start in June this year. Expectations are also increasing as to which players will be selected to play for the Indian team this time.

BCCI has not announced the players yet to play. It is definitely expected that Ravindra Jadeja will have a place in the Indian team. Meanwhile, former Australian cricketer Tom Moody has given his opinion on Ravindra Jadeja’s suitability as a No.7 batsman.

Speaking about this, he said, “Ravindra Jadeja is excellent in bowling. If I were the selector, I would definitely include Jadeja in the squad. Because I want the best left-arm spinner. So, Jadeja is the best choice I know. He is one of the best left-arm spinners in the country.

However, in terms of batting, Jadeja is not in the right form at the moment. It wouldn’t be right if he bats at number 7 in the World Cup. I don’t think he is good enough to bat at number 7 in the World Cup squad. He has proved it with his strike rate in the ongoing IPL and the previous T20 matches.

Maybe he needs to make some big impact if he wants to bat at that spot. If only he does, I’d say he’s perfect for the job. I wouldn’t say that his batting is not very good for that. He will be perfect if he has to play a few overs at the last minute. But if wickets suddenly fall, he has to play to the point where he can carry the team,” said Tom Moody.
