While it is already being reported that Royal Enfield is going to launch the Bobber Style Gowan Classic 350 model soon, it has been reported that the company has registered the name of the new 450cc bike for trademark. Royal Enfield launched the Himalayan 450 with a new 452cc engine in India a few months back. Now it is expected that this new model will be another bike with the same engine.
According to the available information, the company has registered the name Guerilla 450 as a trademark. Not only the name, but also its logo has been designed with a party, so we can expect Royal Enfield to launch this bike in the Indian market soon.
The new Himalayan 450 model is powered by a single-cylinder, 452cc liquid-cooled engine. Royal Enfield is expected to use the same engine with a slight tune in the 450 model. Also, while the Himalayan is an off-roader, the new Guerrilla model is also expected to be launched in a roadster style.
As much as entry-level 100cc bikes in India, the 400cc segment is now becoming a very competitive segment. Just last week, Bajaj launched their new budget bike in the 400cc segment, the Pulsar 400Z. Hero is planning to release their new Expels 400 model by the end of this year.
Along with these models, the new Guerrilla model from Royal Enfield will have to compete with premium bikes including Triumph Speed 400, KTM 390 Duke and Harley Davidson 440. The bike is also expected to get standard telescopic fork and monoshock suspension setup, dual channel ABS with disc brakes.
