Royal Enfield has reported sales of 2,27,925 bikes in India in the fourth quarter ended March 31. Eicher Motors, the parent company of India’s leading classic bike retailer Royal Enfield, filed its fourth quarter financial report last week.

Eicher Motors also mentioned the details of sale of Royal Enfield in the report. Accordingly, Royal Enfield’s sales in the last quarter of the last financial year have increased by 6.17% compared to the last quarter of the previous financial year.

Also, Eicher Motors has mentioned that Royal Enfield has sold 9,12,732 bikes in the last financial year alone. This is 9% higher than the previous financial year. Apart from this, CEO Govindarajan also talked about Royal Enfield’s plans in international markets.

Accordingly, Royal Enfield has entered the Turkish automobile market hand in hand with Motosiklet ve Bisiklet AS. The company, which is planning to introduce new bikes in the country from next year, has also announced that it will release the Classic, Bullet, Meteor, Hunter, Super Meteor, Interceptor, Continental GT and Shotgun bike models that are being sold in India.

Eicher Motors has also set up Royal Enfield Europe BV, a subsidiary of Eicher Motors in the Netherlands. Through this subsidiary company, the country is going to sell spare parts, motor vehicle riding gear and other products that are not technically required for bikes.

Along with this, Royal Enfield is selling its bikes in more than 60 countries around the world. Also, it is noteworthy that Royal Enfield has a total of two manufacturing plants both in Chennai. Apart from this, Royal Enfield also has assembly plants in Nepal, Brazil, Thailand, Colombia and Argentina.
