In this way the artistes who participated in the live search programs conducted by Shakti TV, again got a big name by participating in other star programs like Voice in Sri Lanka. They had gained fame. It is special that even the contestants who have gone to the competitions that are widespread in South India today and have won, are the ones who first came to Shakti and had singing experience. Thus, we must also state here that Shakti continues to lead the way in contributing to Sri Lanka’s music needs or music scene.
As Sri Lanka’s only private company, Sakthi Company is credited with having done the most to Sri Lanka’s music industry. From Shakti Radio Super Star, which was first played on Shakti Radio, to Patup Padava, Ilaya Khanam, to Shakti Television’s first music selections, many evolutions have taken place. Shakti super star, music princes, Shakti global super star, music battle between urban areas, Shakti crown is a milestone in the work of Shakti who has repeatedly brought fresh seeds, discovered talent searches and created future musicians.
In order to provide music opportunities to those with musical dreams from the most backward areas of Sri Lanka, they are selected by going to them, bringing them to the urban area, and as a project, three people are selected as music coaches, they are divided into three groups, and the best singers are selected within those groups. Sakthi Crown is a very innovative initiative that brings them to the music industry.
In the Sakthi crown competition, contestants selected from various parts of Sri Lanka are participating and now there is a struggle for who will be crowned among them. Not only the contestants, but also the instructors become contestants, and as a prize-giving program that belongs to them, the final competition of the newly developed Shakti crown is waiting to take place on August 24th, at Rathmalan stein Art Gallery, which is the largest television art gallery in South Asia in Sri Lanka.
Amidst huge competition for this, six people will be selected for the finals. India’s top music composers have also been invited to act as live judges to decide who will emerge victorious from among them.
The winners selected through this competition will be given hearty cash prizes and opportunities for future expansion in the music industry.This Shakti crown is a new and better strategy organized by the event organizers since its inception.
