Bharat NCAP test
The Bharat NCAP testing system will function at the same level as car safety testing systems in other countries in the world. To get 3 stars in this car test every car must have 6 airbags. Also there should be minimum ADAS facilities.
The aim of this test system is to point out which cars are safe for Indians and to make the cars manufactured in India world class. Tata cars have now taken part in this and have once again proved that they are world class cars.
World class security
These Tata cars have world-class safety features. In particular, the Level 2 ADAS facility provides better protection not only for car passengers but also for pedestrians.
Security facilities
It has many safety features like standard 6 airbags, standard electronic stability control, 3 point seat belt, seat belt reminder, ISOFIX child mount.
Land Rover based cars
Both these cars are based on Tata’s OMEGARC Architecture based on Land Rover’s popular D8 Platform and are similar to Land Rover cars.
Tata’s growth has been huge since its acquisitions of Land Rover and Jaguar. Tata builds its cars by getting details from those companies.
Price of cars
Safari SUV has 7 seats and Harrier SUV has 5 seats. Both these cars have 2WD facility, 2 liter Stellantis diesel engine. The Safari car is priced at Rs 16.19 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Harrier SUV is priced at Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
The reason for the change?
After acquiring JLR companies, Tata has been designing and building cars based on the information received from them. Due to this, Tata Motors cars continue to be the safest cars in India.
