Chennai: A video of a female doctor saving an unconscious boy in seconds after being electrocuted is going viral.
A six-year-old boy (Sai) lost consciousness after being electrocuted in Ayyappa Nagar, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Later the family took the boy to the hospital and brought him out of the house.
Fortunately, a passing female doctor named Rawali unhesitatingly laid the boy down on the road and performed CPR. CPR stands for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, which is first aid performed within the first six minutes of a person experiencing cardiorespiratory arrest.
Dr. Rawali intervened in time and performed CPR and the boy regained consciousness. Later, the child was taken to a private hospital for further treatment and was given necessary treatment. Now, the boy has recovered and is doing well.
A video of Dr. Rawali performing CPR is going viral on social media. Rawali’s act has received praise and congratulations across social media.
