PM Modi’s government has made various major reforms, PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss said.
In his social media post in this regard, he said, “After the implementation of the globalization policy, in a situation where reform is the best way for a country to progress, the government led by Modi has done various primary reforms by separating from it. India today is reaping the benefits of the reforms undertaken by the Modi government. Due to these reforms, India has emerged as a powerful and influential country on the world stage.
India still has many heights to reach on the world stage. Modi should take advantage of the new regime for them. River connectivity is seen as the driving force behind India’s growth. All India is waiting for this project to be implemented. I urge the Narendra Modi 3.0 government to realize those expectations and immediately initiate steps to implement all river linking projects including the Cauvery & Godavari linking project.
In order to protect the rights of Tamil Nadu, one of India’s largest states, the new government should also take measures such as banning Karnataka’s plan to build the Meghadatu dam across the Cauvery river, and removing the obstacles put up by the Kerala government in the plan to raise the water level of the Mulla Periyar dam to 152 feet.
