The Government will provide full support for the successful conduct of the Bora Conference

75Sagala Ratnayake, Senior Adviser to the President on National Security and Head of the President’s Task Force instructed the concerned authorities to provide full support for the conduct of the annual spiritual conference of the Bora community to be held in Sri Lanka.

Sagala Ratnayake gave these instructions during the discussion held at the President’s office yesterday (24) afternoon regarding the Bora conference.

Parallel to this year’s Bora Community Spiritual Conference in Karachi, Pakistan, the Bora Spiritual Conference will be held from July 7-16 centered around the Pambalapitti Bora Church and the Sri Lankan Exhibition and Convention Hall.

As about fifteen thousand Bora community from many countries including India are coming to Sri Lanka for this conference, it was examined in detail about providing all infrastructure facilities including airport facilities for them.

Minister of External Affairs, President’s Attorney Ali Sabri, Acting Chief of Defense General Shavendra Silva, Sri Lanka Customs, Immigration Department, Colombo Municipal Council, Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, Sri Lanka Police, Department of Religious and Muslim Affairs attended the meeting. took
