The clash occurred as protesters rallied outside the Israeli embassy in Mexico in support of the Palestinian people. The police are working to control it.
Since October 7, 2023 Israel’s attack on Gaza has killed more than 36,096 Palestinians. 81,136 people were injured. The death toll from Hamas attacks on Israel stands at 1,139. Many were captured.
As Spain, Ireland and Norway formally recognize Palestine, the UN is set to discuss Israel’s attack on Rafah. The Security Council convened an emergency meeting.
In the meantime, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said, “I strongly condemn Israel’s attack that took the lives of innocent people who sought refuge in order to protect themselves from this brutal conflict. There is no safe place in Gaza. It is worth noting that this cruelty must be stopped.
