The sale of this car is no more.. Mahindra has stopped the sale.

Mahindra has discontinued the Marazzo MPV, which has been selling low for a long time. Now Mahindra has removed this Marazzo model from their official website. If there was one car in Mahindra’s line-up in India other than SUVs, it was the Marazzo MPV. Mahindra has now discontinued the sale of this car, which was released as a rival to the Toyota Innova model.

Low-selling Marazzo:

Mahindra Marazzo was launched in India in 2018. Marazzo was launched in four variants, M2, M4, M6 and M8, priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 13.90 lakh. However, only 44,783 Marazzo cars have been sold since its launch till May 2024. The model was currently being sold at ex-showroom prices ranging from Rs.14.59 lakh to Rs.17 lakh.

A safe car:

Marazzo had some unique features like front wheel drive and forged aluminum suspension. Also, the Marazzo has been ranked as one of the safest cars on sale in India, securing 4 stars in the Global NCAP safety test. Also, safety features like two front airbags, rear camera and Isofix child seat anchors are also provided in this MPV car.

A car full of amenities:

Mahindra has been selling this Marazzo model in 7 seater and 8 seater options. In the 7-seat model, only two captain’s seats are provided in the middle. Also, this MPV model has 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Auto Climate Control, Remote Keyless Entry.

Mahindra Marazzo Engine:

Mahindra has used 1.5 liter mHawk diesel engine in this Marazzo MPV model. The engine was capable of producing 121hp of power and 300Nm of torque. The car had two driving modes, Normal and Eco, and was only offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

No model can be claimed as a direct competitor to this Marazzo. The car was positioned between Maruti Ertiga and Toyota Innova Crysta. However, as an MPV, it was also sold against the Toyota Innova Crysta.
