The updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 will launch on August 12

Earlier it was reported that Royal Enfield is going to update the classic 350 bike. Now it has been officially announced that it will be released on August 12.

Royal Enfield’s Best Selling Bike:

Although Royal Enfield sells a variety of bikes, the best selling bike of the company is the Classic 350. Royal Enfield has sold 24,803 Classic 350 bikes in June alone.

Increasing Competitors:

Until last few years there was no big competition for this bike. But now companies like Harley Davidson and Triumph are coming together and releasing entry level bikes at low prices. It comes as a tough competition to Royal Enfield’s Classic 350. The Triumph Speed 400 and the Harley Davidson X440 are seen as rivals to the Royal Enfield Classic 350.

Royal Enfield Updates Classic 350:

Royal Enfield is all set to update its classic 350 bike for the first time since its 2021 launch to take on the competition. This time, it seems that only some new facilities are going to be added, without any mechanical changes.

What amenities are expected?

While even the low-end bikes now feature LED lights, the Classic 350 has used halogen lights so far. The company will offer LED headlights as standard on the new Classic 350. Apart from this, it is expected that various other facilities may be provided. It will be revealed at the time of release.

Classic 350 Engine Change?

As mentioned above, there is no change in the engine. The new bike will be powered by the same 349 cc, single cylinder, air-cooled engine that is currently in use, churning out 20hp of power and 27Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Will the price of a new bike go up?

The Classic 350 bike is currently priced between Rs 1.93 lakh and Rs 2.25 lakh ex-showroom. The price of the new bike is expected to go up slightly along with the new features.
