There is no mistake in the NEET exam.. Dharmendra Pradhan cleared the exam

NEET entrance exam for medical courses has been conducted since 2017. Initially, there is strong opposition to the NEET exam in Tamil Nadu. Now, the NEET protest has spread to other states.

NEET results for the current year were released on June 4. There have been allegations of various irregularities such as question paper leakage, mark falsification, grace marks, and irregularities in the correction of the answer sheet.

In the related case, “The mark certificate of the students who were given mercy marks in NEET examination should be canceled and returned. The Supreme Court has ordered that the original marks obtained by them should be reported without adding mercy marks.

In this situation, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has given an explanation today, “24 lakh students wrote the NEET exam in 13 languages across the country in approximately 4500 centers. Out of them 13 lakh students have qualified. There is no evidence of NEET question paper leak. Out of 4500 centers where the exam was held this year, only 6 centers have sent wrong question papers by mistake. The correct question paper was then given. But it took some time.

1,563 students who appeared for the exam in these 6 centers had to face loss of time. As per the Supreme Court order, it was informed that mercy marks will be given instead of re-examination. Therefore, the National Examinations Agency constituted an expert panel and applied the mercy marking rule. However, it was later revealed that some students had secured 100% marks.

After this some approached the court. In this case, the Supreme Court has ruled that 1,563 students will be given an opportunity to re-sit the NEET exam or accept their original marks without mercy marks. We welcome this judgment. The central government is taking the matter seriously

Around 50 lakh students appear for NEET, JEE and QET exams conducted by the National Examinations Agency. There is no possibility of any malpractice. Action will be taken against those who caused problems in the examination,” he said.
