Chennai : Petrol and diesel prices fluctuate due to international crude oil exports and imports. Similarly, the demand for metals such as gold and silver in the international markets is seen as the reason for the rise in prices.
Thus, the price of gold is rising and falling every day. After remaining unchanged for the last three days, the price of jewelery rose today.
Accordingly, as of today (02-07-2024) in Chennai, the price of 22 carat jewelery rose by Rs.40 per gram to Rs.53,520 and Rs.5 per gram to Rs.6,690. Similarly, silver price rose by 80 paise to Rs 95.50 per gram in the retail trade.
As of yesterday (01-07-2024) in Chennai, the price of 22 carat jewelery remained unchanged, increasing by Rs 152 to Rs 53,480 per gram and Rs 19 per gram to Rs 6,685. At the same time, silver per gram was Rs. 94.50, per kg silver cost Rs. 94, 500 is worth noting.
