Mountaineering
Apart from this many people visit Bachamalai for trekking. A large number of people including students come here because of the beautiful nature even in summer. However, due to the lack of adequate security facilities and infrastructure, the arrival of people is slightly decreasing.

Due to this, 4 crore 27 lakh rupees have been earmarked for the development of the tourist destination. Currently, the work for this has also started. All the people of Trichy district are happy with this.
