Triumph has opened bookings for the Daytona 660 Supersport bike

Triumph, which sells only premium bikes in India, will soon launch a new supersport bike called the Daytona 660. Triumph has now started booking for it. The company is already selling Trident 660 Roadster and Tiger Sport 660 Adventurer in the 650cc segment. Following this, Triumph is going to release this new Data 660 model.

Triumph Daytona 660 Engine:

The same 660cc inline-triple engine used in Triumph’s other 660cc bikes will be used in this new Dato 660 bike. This engine produces 94hp of power and 69Nm of torque in the Daytona 660 model. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper and assist clutch.

Triumph Daytona 660 Other Features:

The bike has a steel perimeter frame, steel swing arm and a clip on handle bar. The suspension setup is a 41mm big piston separate suspension Showa fork at the front and a Showa monoshock suspension setup at the rear with 130mm of travel.

Weighing in at 201 kg, the Daytona 660 bike has an aggressive riding position. However, Triumph claims that this bike will be slightly easier to ride than the previous models.

Triumph Daytona 660 Technical Features:

The bike has TFT screen, ride-by-wire facility, three riding modes – sport, road and rain, traction control and ABS. Preferred customers will also be offered a Triumph Connectivity System and 30 optional extras for the Daytona 660

Triumph Daytona 660 Price and Competitors:

Triumph is expected to launch the Daytona 660 in India under a price tag of Rs 10 lakh. Interested customers can book this bike now by making an advance payment of Rs.25,000. Triumph is going to launch it in India to compete with Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Aprilia RS 660.
