UPSC chief Manoj Soni’s sudden resignation… Is it because of Pooja Ketkar IAS controversy?

UPSC Chairman Manoj Soni’s sudden resignation from his post has become a national talking point. He has said that he is resigning due to personal reasons. Earlier, he joined the Central Government Staff Selection Commission in 2017. Subsequently, Manoj Soni took oath as UPSC Chairman on May 16, 2023.

A criminal case has been registered against Pooja Ketkar in this regard.

Proximity to Prime Minister Modi

A show cause notice has been issued regarding the cancellation of his civil service pass. The issue is creating a national uproar. But they say that this has nothing to do with Manoj Soni’s resignation. He belongs to the state of Gujarat. It is noteworthy that he is close to Prime Minister Modi. Modi chose him as the Vice-Chancellor of the famous MS University in Vadodara.
