Kerala : Due to heavy rains on July 29, heavy landslides occurred in many places in Wayanad. More than 300 people have died and many have lost their homes in this devastating landslide.
Also, many are trapped in the rubble and landslides. The work of rescuing them is still going on for the 5th day. Also, the rescue work is not completed due to obstacles like houses collapsing and falling trees.
Wayanad, which faced such a terrible calamity, is now gradually returning to normalcy. In the video recording that has been released in this regard, it can be seen that the work of repairing the roads in the landslide affected areas is going on intensively.
Also, people can be seen crossing the bridge here and there at the heavily damaged Bailey Bridge in Suralmalai. It is expected that Wayanad will be completely back to normal in a few days as the rains are gradually reducing.
