NEET UG 2024: The National Examinations Agency (NTA) will soon release the candidate answer sheet and answer notes for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET UG). The NEET exam was held across the country on Sunday, May 5. NEET Answer Keys will be released soon on the official website of National Examinations Agency.
OMR answer sheets of candidates will also be released along with NEET answer key. The National Examination Agency is yet to announce the date for the release of the answer keys. But it has been informed that the NEET results will be released on June 14.
The National Examinations Agency conducted the NEET exam at 4,750 examination centers in 571 cities. NEET exam was held in 14 cities abroad. More than 24 lakh registered candidates participated in it. Candidates claim that the NEET exam this year was average.
NEET Exam Paper – Covers Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Each lesson consists of two sections. Section A had 35 questions and Section B had 15 questions. Out of 15 questions in Section B, candidates have to answer any 10 questions.
NEET Exam: Section A Marking System
– Correct Answer or Most Appropriate Answer: Four Marks (+4)
– If any wrong answer is marked, one mark (-1) will be deducted.
– Mark (0) will not be awarded if unanswered/marked for review.
If more than one option is found correct, four marks (+4) will be awarded only to those who have marked any one of the correct options. However, if all the options are found correct, all those who attempted the question will be awarded four marks (+4).
If none of the options are found correct or if a question is found wrong or a question is dropped, four marks (+4) will be awarded to all the candidates who appeared in the examination irrespective of whether the question was attempted or not.
NEET UG 2024: Section B Marking System
If candidates attempt more than 10 questions, only the first 10 questions will be considered for evaluation.
– Correct Answer: Four Marks (+4)
– Wrong Answer: Deduct one mark (-1)
– No mark will be awarded if unanswered/marked for review (0).
If more than one option is found correct, four marks (+4) will be awarded only to those who have marked any of the correct options, if all the options are found correct then all those who have attempted the question will be awarded four marks (+4).
If a question is found to be incorrect or the question is abandoned, four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who attempted the question. The reason may be due to human error or technical error.
Candidates are advised to perform the calculations with the constants given (if any) in the questions
