Governor’s Awards are given annually to those who excel in social service and environmental protection in Tamil Nadu. The Governor’s House has informed that applications for the current year’s Governor’s Awards can be made in that manner.Who can apply?
In a press release issued yesterday on June 28, the Governor’s House said, “The Governor’s Award is given every year to recognize the selfless services of individuals and organizations who have made exemplary contributions to improving community life and promoting environmental protection.
In that way, individuals and companies can apply their applications for the awards for the year 2024 independently.
Prize Amount:
Retired Central and State Government High Officials, Government Secretaries, Joint Secretaries to Government, University Vice-Chancellors, Padma awardees can also nominate for this award. Candidates should have minimum 10 years of service in their respective field. 2 lakhs and Governor’s Award to the selected individual and Rs. 5 lakhs and award to the individual company selected by the Governor on Republic Day.

Those who are eligible to apply for this award should fill the application form published on the website https://tnrajbhavan.gov.in/ and send it to the official email address awardsrajbhavantamilnadu@gmail.com by 5 pm on August 9th.
