Why the silence on Kallakurichi scam issue? JP Natta’s letter to Congress President Kharge

BJP leader JP said that the Congress party is keeping silent on the issue of over 50 deaths and over 100 being treated in hospital due to drinking liquor in Kallakurichi. Natta wrote to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday.

So far 59 people have died and nearly 156 have been hospitalized in the Kallakurichi drinking incident in Tamil Nadu.

In this situation, BJP has written a letter to Congress President Mallikarjuna Kharge, President Natta has said that the Congress Party is keeping silent on the Kallakurichi issue.

In his letter, Natta said, “The sight of crying women and children who have lost their husbands, sons and fathers has left everyone speechless. This is a human tragedy of huge proportions, which words can never truly capture. The BJP, a sensitive party, stands with the people of Tamil Nadu in this time of mourning. Apart from expressing condolences and sympathies, we are extending our utmost support to each and every bereaved family.”

“But even as we collectively mourn this great loss, I am compelled to introduce to you some shocking facts and circumstances which might have helped to prevent the loss of these innocent lives. Even so, if I do not say this, it is my moral duty to present these facts before you for your knowledge and action. I am dereliction of duty and I will fail in my responsibilities to humanity as a whole,” Natta said in the letter.

“Ironically, whenever you were in power you were the biggest supporter of the illegal bootleg liquor trade that claimed hundreds of lives. DMK -There is a coalition government of India,” the letter said.

“Karke ji, as you know Karunapuram is home to Scheduled Castes who are facing various challenges due to poverty and discrimination in Tamil Nadu. In light of this, I am shocked to see the silence of the Congress party under your leadership. Some issues should rise beyond party boundaries, and One of the things that really need to happen today is the welfare and safety of the SC and ST community, and that is “justice”, don’t reduce it to a catchy campaign slogan to start a failed political dynasty Especially seeing the double talk of Rahul Gandhi and the leaders of the Indian alliance,” Nadda said.
