Will the Madurai-Bangalore Vande Bharat train route be changed? Passenger request for Southern Railway!

Passengers have demanded to change the route of the Vande Bharat Express train to be started on June 20 between Madurai-Bangalore and stop at important railway stations like Dindigul and Hosur.

Madurai-Bangalore Vande Bharat:

Madurai, which is one of the biggest cities in Tamil Nadu after Chennai, has been complaining that central and state government projects are not available in large scale and even if some projects are announced, they are being delayed for implementation.

People of Madurai rejoice:

In this situation, when announcements were made that Vande Bharat train will be available to Madurai, this made the people of Madurai extremely happy. The train is expected to be very useful for the large number of people traveling from southern districts to Bengaluru, the capital of IT companies.

Orange Vande Bharat:

Orange colored Vande Bharat train to be introduced between Madurai-Bengaluru. The waiting list of passengers who booked before the launch of this train is running to over 400. This train will cover the 435 km Madurai-Bangalore distance in just six hours, faster than any other express train.

Test Run Success:

In this situation, the trial run of the Madurai-Bangalore Vande Bharat train was held today on the morning of June 17. The train departs from Madurai at 5:15 am, reaches Bengaluru at 1:15 pm and reaches Madurai at 9:25 pm in the reverse direction.

ROUTING CHANGE REQUEST:

This train will run to Bengaluru via Dindigul, Trichy, Karur, Namakkal, Salem, Hosur. This train departs from Madurai at 5.15 am and reaches Trichy at 7.15 am and departs from there at 7.20 am to reach Salem at 9.55 am. It departs from there at 10 am and reaches Bengaluru SMVT railway station at 1.15 pm. It departs Bengaluru at 1:45 PM and reaches Madurai at 10:25 PM on the reverse route.

What is the reason?

Although this train travels through Dindigul, it does not stop at Dindigul. Also, Madurai commuters are of the opinion that the Vande Bharat train bypasses Trichy, which increases the travel distance by 145 km and thus increases the travel time by 2 hours.

Tani Vande Bharat to Trichy-Bangalore:

Passengers have also requested Southern Railway to run a separate Vande Bharat train from Trichy to Bengaluru, Madurai to Bangalore Vande Bharat train via Dindigul and Karur, and take steps to stop Vande Bharat train at Dindigul and Hosur which are important commercial cities on this route.
