Yesterday, the price of gold, which rose three times in one day, fell slightly today!

GOLD: On the occasion of Akshaya Trithi, the price of ornamental gold rose by Rs.1240 per Savaran on the same day yesterday, but today it has decreased slightly.

Due to international crude oil export and import, petrol and diesel prices fluctuate. Similarly, when inflation and demand for gold increases, so does the price of gold.

Thus, the price of gold is rising and falling every day. On the occasion of Akshaya Trithi, the price of ornamental gold rose by Rs.1,240 in a single day yesterday and 1 sawan gold was sold at Rs.54,160. Despite the increase in the price of gold, the public’s interest in buying it has not decreased.

In this case, it has been reported that gold was sold for Rs.16,000 crore (24,000 kg) in just one day yesterday. This is an increase of 4,000 kg compared to last year.

As of today (11-05-2024) in Chennai, the price of 22 carat jewelery has decreased by Rs.160 to Rs.54,000 per gram and Rs.20 per gram to Rs.6,750. Similarly, in the retail trade, the price of one gram of silver decreased by 70 paise to Rs.90.50 and a kg was sold at Rs.90,500.
