Chennai: Suri’s ‘Kotdukali’ has been selected to compete at the Transylvania International Film Festival.
Actor Suri and Anna Penn’s film ‘Kottukali’ from Tamil cinema has been selected to compete in the festival, which will be held in Romania between June 14-24. In this regard, Sivakarthikeyan, the film’s actor and producer, said on the X site.
Earlier, the film was selected at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival under the Forum category and premiered on 16 February 2024. With this, the film added pride to Tamil cinema. The film premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival. Following this, it has been selected to be screened at the Transylvania International Film Festival and continues to receive international recognition.
Meanwhile, last year 2021, PS Vinodraj’s debut film Kuzhangal bagged the Tiger Award at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR).
